The prime vision of this institution is to cater to the academic needs of the economically deprived, socially backward,

and academically alienated rural youth and to make them self-confident, purposeful, focussed,value-based and responsible citizens on the lines of the motto -

” Niyatham Kuru Karmatvam

Vidvaanamrutha Iha Bhavathi”.

(Ever perform the duties assigned; for, one who knows will reach eternal heights)

Mission

To create, disseminate and advance knowledge through interdisciplinary and coolaboratve efforts,

To attract all the eligible students in the commnity to higher education,

To help the students complete UG and progress,

To mould them as knowledgeable and useful citizens by effective implementation of the curriculum using the skilled human resources at the institutional level,

To make them resourceful for the intellectual, academic, cultural and socio-economic development of the region & the state of Andhra Pradesh

and above all,

to inculcate a sense of service to the society and contribution to the Nation's pride.

The Emblem..

The college emblem signifies the philosophy of the institution.

The Sun is the bestower of knowledge & wisdom, symbolic of the Guru, the teacher, and He is the spirit behind the teachers working here.

The seven horses symbolize the seven rays of wisdom.

The chariot symbolizes the persistent effort.

The charioteer reflects the ideal of peer teaching.

The kapi-dhwaja, flag symbolizes the students who completed their studies here.

The lamps on either side symbolize the teachers working here.

The green colour and water reflect agriculture & aquaculture, the mainstay of living of the community here and suggests

that the institute is committed to serve the local community, while encouraging students to soar high and high.

The pot signifies the nectar of wisdom that leads one to eternity.

The Motto..

We believe in the philosophy - “Niyatam kuru karma twam” adopted from the Bhagavagita. We are committed to do what we are expected to do..

And we believe that Commitment to duty is the only one go in pursuit of excellence..

And,

We aim at ..realizing the saying..

“Vidwaanamruta iha bhavati” , from the Rigveda..

the seeker becomes the knower , the knower becomes the known..

And realises the Ultimate of wisdom..
